On 27 May 2015, Yunnan Water was successfully listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE), Stock Code: 06839.HK. That day has become a milestone in Yunnan Water’s history of development.
Yunnan Water’s global offer triggered enthusiastic response. The Company’s international placement and public offer enjoyed ardent subscriptions from the general investors ever since the establishment of bookkeeping on May 12th. In the end, the total request on orders at HK$5.8 on the high end of the price range was US$2.857 billion, which represented 44 times of the international placing tranche. The public offer in Hong Kong received 354 times of over-subscription, all the investors subscribed at the highest price. The final price settled on the high end of the price range, at HKD$5.8 per share, equaled to 18.9 times (before the exercise of the over-allotment option) and 19.4 times (after the exercise of the over-allotment option) of the PE ratio of 2015.

Yunnan Water raised a total of HK$1.916 billion (after the exercise of the over-allotment option) through this listing and issuance of H shares in Hong Kong and was highly recognized and favored by the international capital market. In this global fund raising by landing in H shares, Yunnan Water has become the first state-controlled enterprise in Yunnan Province independently listed on HKSE, and created a plurality of “number one” in the Hong Kong capital market:
